Heliskiing enquiries

Beyond the usual approach.

Helicopter-accessed skiing begins with feasibility, long before a flight is considered.

Remote terrain can offer compelling skiing, but aircraft availability, aviation permissions, landing access, snow conditions and rescue arrangements all need direct verification. This website does not confirm an operating heliski programme, aircraft fleet or bookable departure.

Before discussing an itinerary

  • Share your off-piste experience and ability in variable snow.
  • Ask who would operate the aircraft and who would lead the skiing.
  • Request written confirmation of required permissions, operating limits and weather cancellation terms.
  • Clarify avalanche procedures, aircraft briefings, communications and rescue capability.
  • Confirm that your insurer explicitly covers the proposed activity in Iran.

Keep alternatives in the plan.

Weather and logistical constraints can prevent flying. Discuss whether a touring or other ground-based itinerary is appropriate; no alternative should be assumed to be included or available.
